SentrySIS are delighted to announce achievement of the ISO27001:2013 certification for Information Security Management.

By achieving this internationally recognised certification, SentrySIS has demonstrated its commitment to data protection and continuous improvement for information security management.

This is a direct response to the commitment SentrySIS has to local businesses, crime partnerships and police constabularies it works with. In addition to this, it forms part of the SentrySIS vision for information security best practice.

The accreditation was awarded by industry leader, the British Assessment Bureau, who themselves are regulated by the government backed United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS).

When commenting on the achievement, SentrySIS Director, Chris Nriapia commented and said, “Securing this standard demonstrates our ongoing commitment to security and best practice within our industry. This also sets the benchmark for other businesses operating within the same environment to follow our lead. Our customers and wider partners can rest assured of the resilience and excellence in the SentrySIS platform.”

ISO 27001 is an internationally recognised information security management standard that ensures organisations can apply a framework to business processes to help identify, manage and reduce risks to information security, and considers not only IT but all business operations.
