The UK’s most innovative crime reporting and monitoring software solution has this week joined the National Association of Business Crime Partnerships (NABCP) as an associate member.

SentrySIS is the fully paperless online platform used by crime partnerships, BID’s, national retailers and police constabularies to help report and monitor crime and anti-social behaviour within UK town and cities.

The software boasts a smartphone app and desktop solution allowing crime partnership members to share data with each other and stay ahead of local criminals. Crime partnership members can also report crime directly to their local police constabulary within minutes through a ‘police-approved’ digital evidence pack, containing completed MG11 witness statements, images and CCTV footage which drastically reduces investigating time for the police and administration work for businesses.

Commenting on the new partnership, Chris Nriapia from SentrySIS said “We’ve been wanting to work a lot closer with the NABCP and its membership for some time now and after the 2017 NABCP conference, the timing just seemed right.”

Predominately operating across the North of England, SentrySIS is the flagship software product used by BACIL (Business Against Crime in Leeds) to help manage their partnership and Durham Police Constabulary to receive witness statements from local businesses.

Sean Walker from BACIL commented on the relationship and said “The SentrySIS software allows us to run and manage our partnership with ease. We’ve tried all the competitors on the market and nothing does come close to SentrySIS.”

In 2017, SentrySIS launched its facial recognition feature within the software which has already managed to confirm the identity of a number of unknown profiles that have assisted the police with their enquires. Sgt Adam Norris from Durham Police Constabulary commented and said “SentrySIS is now an integral part of our business demand reduction strategy within the constabulary”.

SentrySIS is a low cost cloud-based platform where NABCP members can take advantage of a free trial of the software to see how it compares to their current provider.

Chris summarised the NABCP partnership by saying “Over the coming months we will be contacting NABCP members and their local police personnel with information on the SentrySIS platform and how the software can assist their partnerships local policing processes.”
