In this episode of crime partnerships under the spotlight, we speak to Colin Moreton, Crime Manager for York Business Against Crime. YBAC has been in operation since 2016 under the remit of York City Council’s Safer York Partnership.

YBAC has some great relationships with a variety of Government and commercially-focused organisations in and around the City of York. In addition to this the organisation also has solid associations with other partners in neighbouring parts of Yorkshire.

Colin draws from his experiences of being an ex-police officer of North Yorkshire Police and explains how this has enabled him to build a very successful crime partnership. YBAC work with stakeholders such as the Counter Terrorism Police nationally right through to organisations such as York BID on a local level.
