As part of their ongoing ISO27001:2013 accreditation, SentrySIS are pleased to announce the successful completion of its annual surveillance audit to guarantee another year of ISO27001:2013 accreditation.

The ISO27001:2013 is an internationally recognised certification that demonstrates an organisation’s commitment to data protection, GDPR, data security and overall company information security management.

The accreditation was awarded by industry leader, the British Assessment Bureau, who themselves are regulated by the government backed United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS).

This not only is a reflection to the commitment SentrySIS has to its customers’ data and information security management but leads the industry for best practice within the crime management software sector.

SentrySIS Director, Chris Nriapia commented and said, “The ISO27001 annual surveillance audit is quite a hefty piece of work where an external party assess our information security management and makes sure everything is as it should be. Whilst this is time consuming and requires human resource, each year we improve the way we manage digital information which makes us more robust and more compliant as a company. The real benefactors of the audit are our customers and system end users as they can be reassured that we are leading the way in our sector.”

As part of the accreditation process, SentrySIS has applied the ISO27001 framework to both their internal policies and external SentrySIS software practices. This helps identify, manage and reduce business related risks in relation to information security management that might arise.
