Wakefield Area Businesses Against Crime (WABAC) will this week launch its new partnership with Yorkshire based crime security software SentrySIS.
WABAC members will now be able to combat retail crime and anti-social behaviour through the ground breaking SentrySIS security platform allowing members to search and identify over 450 known criminals within the Wakefield area.
Crime Manager for WABAC, Steve Hunt commented and said “The SentrySIS software is easy to use and works on all types of internet enabled devices, this is just what we need for our WABAC membership to reduce retail and business crime. It is an excellent system and will improve crime information sharing locally and regionally.
The SentrySIS platform has already proved successful for the York and Leeds Business Crime Reduction Partnerships, where the software has been active for over 6 months and three years respectively. Members of both BCRP’s benefit from the system as it allows them to search a secure database of over 2000 known criminals committing retail and business crime across the region
Marketing Director at SentrySIS, Chris Nriapia commented and said “We are really pleased with our new partnership with WABAC as this now allows us to assist local businesses within the Wakefield area of West Yorkshire to fight retail crime.”
