EyesOn App - By UKPAC
EyesOn is a free, community-oriented application crafted to bolster local safety by empowering residents to directly report criminal activity and anti-social behaviour to a dedicated crime intelligence hub.
Utilising the EyesOn app, users can submit comprehensive reports, which are evaluated by expert analysts and subsequently shared with local police for potential intervention. Furthermore, the application provides real-time crime statistics, ensuring that the community remains abreast of local occurrences.
Additionally, EyesOn offers a platform for reporting public issues such as potholes and graffiti to local councils. The application also houses a public gallery where users can help identify individuals by submitting potential names to aid ongoing investigations.
The team behind EyesOn is UK Partner Against Crime (UKPAC), a highly successful crime partnership that spans the South of England.
SentrySIS was tasked with developing the application across both iOS and Android platforms. To facilitate platform management, SentrySIS developed a cloud backend management system, enabling UKPAC intelligence hub analysts to fully oversee the ecosystem.
Retailers Against Crime (RAC)
Retailers Against Crime, is a national, not-for-profit crime partnership that was founded in 1997. RAC assists in detecting and preventing crime, including acts of violence, by sharing information on local, regional and national offenders with its large membership that covers all parts of the UK.
RAC’s internal specialised staff analyses offenders, identifies their methods, associates, and targeted locations. This enables RAC to warn its members, who can then detect and prevent crime before it occurs. RAC is a leader in identifying and providing intelligence on organised crime groups, many of whom are involved in other criminal activities such as drugs, firearms, human trafficking, and terrorism.
SentrySIS were tasked to produce an informative and professional public facing website that tied in with RAC’s new brand identity to celebrate its 25 years of operation. The website also required daily back up and regular maintenance in a secure UK based data centre.
